sit on this

i'm housesitting an apartment of a friend of mine in cremorne at the moment. she's gone to russia for about three weeks, and asked me to look after her place, and her lovely cat mischief while she is away. it's been a nice little holiday for me too. i haven't spent much time over that way, since i moved up to sydney. it's a lovely leafy area, that's quiet compared to my usual digs, and i get to catch a ferry to and from work. it's only about ten minutes from wharf to wharf, but i get gently woken by some sea spray to the face, which is nice. i've been enjoying my holiday, and the fact that i don't know anyone who lives over there. it's meant that i can spend my time drawing and mooching about, both of which make me happy. not that i really need an excuse to do this, i mange to do this alright on home turf. i'm enjoying living on my own for a while. i get to be both tony danza and angela, at the same time.

a reverse shot of my ferry ride into work. the timing is great. i go in when the sun's coming up, and i go out when the sun is going down.

after drawing this, i realised that i may have to get out more than i do.
