my peoples

oh, hello there. my housesitting duties finished this weekend, and i returned to my people in the heart of the inner west. i lugged my backpack, back over the bridge, and caught a train home to beautiful st peters station. i was expecting some form of parade, or at least one float, but was happy being presented with the grey belly of my cat abe, flicking around on the garden path when i got back. he's such a little trooper. i had a good time over in cremorne for the last three weeks, but it's great to back home. here's some pictures anyway, enjoy.

this was the view from my ride home on the ferry from work on thursday. rainbow.

the sun kicking out some rays on the balcony at the apartment in cremorne.

i painted this on the weekend, mostly outside in the sun. i smiled to myself when i had finished, and then realised how long it had been, since i'd genuinely done so. too long.
