tokyo

well, only been here four days, and i'm really in love with this city. it's everything that i thought it would be, and more.

day two of our trip we road push bikes into ginza, and into the mouth of the electronic stores of tokyo. walked around in a complete daze, staring at so much technnolgoy it would make usb cords burst from your head. it's was pretty overwhelming actually, and i found that after an hour of lights, sounds and crowds, i was having trouble making decisions, and thinking. riding bikes around japan is one of the best things you can do, i plan to do more, and i can't recommend it enough.

day three took us to a shopping centre to do some promtion work for our hosts english school and daycare center. we dressed in bright t-shirts, set up a hopscotch game, and any japanese kid that walked past, was invited to come and play. and play they did. met some of the cutest kids you've ever seen. even bumped into what i think is a little japenese version of me (i'll let you be the judge). then we went for dinner with elise, nj, james, tamaki and alina, and had the best night cooking our own food on hot plates, and drinking cheap japanese beer. i have a new best friend, that just happens to be a vending machine selling 500ml asahi for three dollars fifty australian. i'm in love. i'll post photos of that soon.

must go and wake up a little, get me a coffee.
if i could have packed you into my backpack i would.
